decided to take a break and go to japan in june... juz nice got 2 gunpla exhibitions for mi to visit... ahhaa... time to put my SLR into work...for now...tentative plan shuld be this...

Day 1 to 5 - Tokyo
see the tokyo tower, go akihabara, nagoya other places of interest
possibly see the Hanabi festival and look at girls wearing yukata
fit in 1 concert/ gunpla exhibitions

Day 6 to 7 - Hakone
chill out and relax in a laid back warm spring resort

day 8 to 10 - Osaka/Tokyo
visit the famous shrines/castles

veri long nver have chalet liao...thinking of having a chalet in the first week of may...yes...it's my birthday...and yes...i'm celebrating myself entering midlife crisis...and yes... it's a chance for all of you folks out there to get together and have 2,3 crazy nites of fun after exams....there ain't no rules, lotsa booze, and wateva u wanna do...

bbq shuld be on 2nd nite, booze every nite...

somehow i realise that ppl in charge will fail to see the root of prob... for example, if the traffic increased in CBD causes increase in traffic accidents..wat can we do abt it... we can ban taxi drivers from doing street pickups/drops... so that they will stae queued up in taxi stands...and ppl who are disabled/old can either wheel themselves or crawl over just to hail a cab... and we can have tourist blister curses at innocents cab drivers who abide the law to not drop tourist at their destinations cuz some places conveniently do not have taxi stands...and being tourists, they should know their way around prior to coming over and thus be able to make their way from the taxi stands to whichever place they want to...

no doubt...reckless taxi drivers who rush to snatch passengers might cause accidents..but considering the fact that they are drivers who have a wealth of experience driving... the problem sometimes might be the newbies drivers on the road who are unable to react to unexpected driving conditions.... but oh well...in charge ain't ever easy...and there ain't always a way to appease the whole world...

take a look at the issue in a local uni...converting hostel rooms to student squatters... by cramping more ppl in a room ain't gonna solve a room shortage prob... why do students live in hostel...to save travel time, to study more in a comfy area, to have fun... having 3 ppl in a small place ain't comfy...u'll get to have fun... but the best thing is...u'll get to pay more for less! and from my mkting lessons... i think tt isn't exactly the way to do business...if we call providing living quarters to students a bizness... but oh well... for the ppl who aint happy...u can buzz off and live in your changi /hougang...there's bound to be a 1000 other talents from another country 8 hrs away who wunt mind 3 in a room...and hell...they wunt even mind 10 in a room!

and was at the JP bus interchange waiting for bus...and suddenly was gripped by a fear... since when am i the minority race!?! i hear ppl blabbering in so mani languages i dun understand...it's as if globalization has set upon jurong... if u wanna experience globalization, u dun need to go elsewhere...juz visit JP on a weekend... it'll open up ur eyes to a whole new world... we indeed are lucky to have so many foreign "talents"....

woke up feeling abit nolstagic today... kinda missed the time when i can wake up in hall and feel stoned....missed the time when i sit on the ledge overlooking the carpark... missed the late nite suppers that we had... missed the room hopping and gossiping times we had... missed the insane birthday celebrations... most importantly...suddenly missed all the ppl that been thru 3 years of my life with me... i guess it's juz another weekday...

was thinking abt something while showering yest too... sometimes, it seems that we tend to impose our own thinking on others...things on wat we think and deemed good, we tend to impose it on others with the thought that it's for the other party good... but have we ever stop to think wat is it the other parties might be thinking or wanting... wat they wanted to say but never really gotten a chance to say cuz we on our end, are willing our wills on them... this is applicable actually to alot of things... in parenting, parents sometimes might not listen to their child and just selfishly do things they think it's for the good of the kids... in r/s, one party might just do things that they think is good and neglect the other party feelings... it's hard to know such things unless there's open communication and mutual understanding... the simplest things in life are always the hardest to achieve...

a update that's kinda overdue... the past week went by really pretty fast... and basically...it's all about eating... fri nite had a treat by boss... had dinner at some jap ala carte restaurant near my office... i guess my colleagues and frens are all astonished by the amount of food i can fit into the not so big frame of mine...cuz i was clearing up everyone's left over plate and ordering more n more.... had heaps of sashimi... cuz realli veri long nvr eat liao... it's quite fun to be telling lame jokes and eating n eating non stop...

sat was pretty good too...slp the whole day away...and went out to meet my office mates for a KTV session at st. james... i know we blew away quite a fair bit of money..haven see the final bill yet as Mr. O is the one signing all the cards... will know on monday...and we celebrated glenn's bday too... it was a pretty mad session of singing, card games, booze etc...

but one sian thing... there's gonna be reshuffling of seats in office...sian... my little square of dara, glen, ruiling and me is gonna be broken up liao...no one much left to talk during london shift le...sian....

mmmm..... loads of things i wanna do in march...play my paintball...catch some movies... mabbe just hang out again with a couple of frens... but this is the busy FYP submission period...i guess i juz gotta continue entertain myself...
