stone

here's a story....

there was once this big stone who thought he was very strong. he made up his mind that he will be strong no matter what and will remain strong no matter wat hit him... the sun shine as brightly as possible, and sent its rays beating down on the stone. however, the stone resist the sun's rays and stayed strong.

the wind came and tried to blow the stone away. no matter how much the wind blow, the stone remain strong and stay rooted to the ground. he laughed at the wind's feeble attempt to move him.

next, came the rain. the rain was gentle, slowly dripping herself on the rock. little by little, the rain gotten itself into the stone through one of a minor crack in the stone. slowly, she seeped into his body, and slowly erode her way into his heart. however, the stone was still unaware of this fact and still think he was strong, thinking nothing could ever break him.
then winter come...the cold weather froze the rainwater inside him... little by little..the rainwater freeze and melt, causing the crack in the stone to become bigger and wider. it continues until towards the end of the winter...suddenly the stone juz split into half, and the rain water juz ebbed away... and then...the stone realised how the gentle rain water had overcome his strongness and broke him apart....

are you the stone or the rain?
